Central Tablelands Water - Level 3 Water Restrictions from 1 July 2019

Due to the prolonged drought and the water storage at Lake Rowlands continuing to fall, Council resolved at its June meeting to implement Level 3 water restrictions from 1 July 2019.

Level 3 restrictions consists of an “odds and evens” system under which watering of gardens and lawns is permitted only every second day.

CTW will continue to closely monitor the inflows into Lake Rowlands and long term rainfall forecasts of the Bureau of Meteorology before recommending any future changes to the restriction level.

CTW would like to thank its consumers for their understanding during this period of drought and the importance of using water wisely.
