Central Tablelands Water (CTW) has welcomed the recent joint funding announcement by the Australian and New South Wales governments of $6 million to undertake a business case into the construction of a pipeline between Lake Rowlands and Carcoar Dam, as well as options to raise the existing Lake Rowlands Dam or construct a new dam downstream.

Gavin Rhodes, General Manager of CTW said, “The joint funding announcement is most welcome news as we look forward to continuing our close working relationship with Water Infrastructure NSW to deliver increased water security for the Central Tablelands region.”

“This joint funding announcement enables this critical water security business case to proceed which is imperative for managing future droughts and providing much-needed resilience for our water supply network and the region.” Mr Rhodes said.
